Snowcat Operator in Beautiful Lofsdalen

The ski resort Lofsdalen is often called "the small village with big skiing." Lofsdalen is located in Härjedalen, 50 miles from Stockholm. The mountain offers fantastic skiing with Sweden's third highest vertical drop (492 m) from the summit at 1125 m.a.s.l. Lofsdalen has a heart as its logo. A heart that represents authenticity, love, passion, personal and genuine commitment. We are a ski resort that touches hearts and creates unforgettable memories and experiences. Lofsdalens Fjällanläggningar AB operates the ski facility with 9 lifts (including 2 modern 6-seat chairlifts) and 25 slopes. In addition, we have a Sportshop, Ski Rental, Ski School, Activities, Commercial Lodging, Bike Park, Skybar, Paddle Tennis Hall, and more. We have approximately 65 employees in total, about 15 year-round and the rest seasonal. Staff housing is available for rent. The position starts in November and runs through the end of April. Are you ready for a fantastic winter season? An exciting adventure in a beautiful mountain world where you'll meet many new people, make lifelong friends, create your own experiences, and contribute to our guests' unforgettable memories while gaining work experience in the exciting and growing tourism industry. A winter filled with snow, mountains, skiing, and joy. As a Snowcat Operator, you will work with slope preparation as well as maintenance and service of snowcats and snowmobiles. You'll work across the entire mountain. We currently have 3 machines: Pisten Bully 600 park, Pisten Bully 600 with cabin, and Pisten Bully 800 with winch. We are looking for someone who is committed, handy and mechanically skilled, not afraid of hard work, meticulous, who enjoys order and organization, and who is service-oriented. You should enjoy varied work with a high degree of responsibility. You must have a snowcat operator license. In recent years, we have invested significantly in our snowcats. Among other things, we have acquired the impressive Pisten Bully 800. We have also purchased a cabin that we mounted on the back of one of our other snowcats. The cabin holds 15 people and opens up new possibilities for us, such as passenger transport to our Skybar at the top of the mountain, or activities like early morning skiing before the lifts open or off-piste skiing on the back side of the mountain where we don't have lifts yet. Additionally, all 3 machines have the fantastic Snowsat Lidar system installed. The machines "see" the exact snow depth 50 meters ahead at all times, all to make operation as efficient and smart as possible. Don't miss the chance to operate the absolute newest and most modern snowcat in a beautiful ski resort that continues to invest in the future! Previous experience as a snowcat operator, experience building terrain parks, and winching steeper slopes are merits. We are conducting interviews on a rolling basis. In accordance with GDPR, we reserve the right to retain your application until the positions are filled. In your application, we would like to see a personal letter, CV, references, and a photo.
