We welcome course participants, conference guests, and visitors year-round and are now seeking an engaged Guest House Manager who wants to be an important part of our operations. With us, you'll have varied work where service, hospitality, and collaboration are at the center. You'll become part of a small team where we help each other and work together to create a welcoming environment for our guests. About the Position As a Guest House Manager, you are often the first person our guests meet. You contribute to creating a comfortable and welcoming atmosphere and help with the practical tasks that keep our operations running smoothly. You work closely with our operations developer who provides support in planning and coordination. The role suits you if you enjoy meeting people, are comfortable with varied tasks, and like to combine service, administration, and practical work. Responsibilities Welcome and assist guests before, during, and after their stay. Handle bookings, inquiries, and administration. Staff the reception desk and serve as a natural point of contact for guests and visitors. Prepare for arrivals and ensure that rooms and common areas are welcoming. Assist with conferences, events, and activities. Help with orders and basic inventory management of consumables. Perform light practical tasks in the operation. Identify needs for action and report to the responsible coordinator. Collaborate with colleagues and external vendors. Help wherever needed to create a great experience for our guests. We're Looking for You If You Enjoy meeting people and providing excellent service. Are positive, responsible, and have a good demeanor. Have experience from reception, hotel, café, retail, or other service operations. Are flexible and comfortable with varied tasks. Have good collaboration skills. Can work independently when needed. Have basic computer skills. It is advantageous if you have experience with booking systems, conference operations, or the visitor industry. Knowledge of sign language is a plus.
