About the Position
Personal assistance is a service provided under LSS (the Act on Support and Services for Persons with Disabilities). As a personal assistant, you will primarily help the client with everything that comes up in daily life and with basic needs. Your work involves safeguarding the client's self-determination and integrity, and contributes to making everyday life run smoothly. Each assistance assignment is uniquely tailored to the client's life, so work tasks can vary depending on the workplace.
The client's individual needs guide the workday, and your work may include help with mobility, personal care, training and communication, as well as household chores and activities at home.
Who Are You?
The role of personal assistant places high demands on the ability to build good relationships. We are therefore looking for someone who is attentive, engaged, and responsible. It is also important that you can take your own initiative and see what needs to be done. To thrive as a personal assistant, it is important that there is good personal chemistry between you as an assistant and the client.
We are now looking for you who:
want to work with a woman in her 70s living in Krylbo
have good knowledge of Swedish
have a B driver's license and access to your own car (to get to the workplace)
can work in a home with pets (client has a cat)
For this position, it is an advantage if you:
have previous experience working with dementia, MS, aphasia
have previous experience working with mobility aids, such as floor lifts
Great weight will be placed on personal suitability.
Working Hours, Employment Level, and Salary
The current form of employment is "hourly employment," which means work as needed with varying hours during day and evening. Working hours are between 9:00 and 21:00, both weekdays and weekends.
Fixed hourly wage by agreement and other compensation according to collective agreement.
Start date immediately or by arrangement.
