Executive Chef at Kosta Boda Art Hotel Do you want to lead an engaged kitchen team and create world-class gastronomic experiences? Kosta Boda Art Hotel is now seeking an experienced, inspiring, and passionate Executive Chef who wants to develop our restaurants and take our food concept to the next level. As Executive Chef, you have overall responsibility for the daily operation, quality, work environment, and development of the kitchen. You lead the kitchen team with present and coaching leadership and ensure that every guest receives a dining experience beyond the ordinary. We are looking for someone who: - Has documented experience as an Executive Chef or Sous Chef with leadership responsibility - Has solid experience from à la carte restaurants - Is a confident leader who motivates and develops your team members - Has a burning passion for cooking, quality, and ingredients - Is structured, solution-oriented, and accustomed to working at a high pace - Has good knowledge of food hygiene, self-inspection, and kitchen economics You are a person who leads with humility, engagement, and passion. You inspire your team, have an eye for detail, and are driven to continuously develop both the business and your staff. Responsibilities As Executive Chef, you are responsible for: - Leading, planning, and distributing work in the kitchen - Ensuring high quality of food, service, and presentation - Developing menus together with the Restaurant Manager and management - Overseeing scheduling, ordering, inventory, and waste management - Ensuring that hygiene routines and food legislation are followed - Introducing, training, and developing kitchen staff - Actively working with kitchen economics and cost control - Participating in daily operations and being part of the team About the Position The workplace is primarily the hotel's restaurants Linnéa Art Restaurant and Brasserie 1742, but the position also involves close collaboration with our other restaurant operations within Destination Kosta, such as Kosta Delicatessen and the new bowling restaurant at Craft Arena. We believe that good leadership, close collaboration, and a positive atmosphere in the kitchen are the foundation for both satisfied guests and engaged employees. A driver's license is not a requirement, but you need to be able to get to and from work as working hours sometimes fall outside public transportation schedules. Staff accommodation is available if needed. The work includes daytime, evenings, and weekends. This is a permanent position.
