Swimming Instructor/Pool Attendant at Arena Moliden

Arena Moliden contains a swimming hall, full-size sports halls, judo, table tennis and gym facilities, as well as four soccer fields. In recent times, the facility has been developed and expanded with new spaces for sports, community activities, and meeting places. The swimming hall has a 25-meter pool with four lanes, a diving tower and springboard, as well as a teaching pool. Job Duties We are now looking for a colleague to join a work team where scheduling is based on cooperation, flexibility, and shared responsibility for the facility's operating hours and staffing. The work encompasses various tasks in the pool and swimming hall as well as Arena Moliden. The position includes pool supervision, swimming instruction for schools, swimming classes, and water gymnastics. Cash register work at reception and kiosk, as well as cleaning and other service work are also part of the daily work. The work is varied and is based on the operation functioning as a whole where employees together are responsible for operations, service, safety, and customer service. Qualifications We are looking for someone who is trained as a swimming instructor or has equivalent education and experience that the employer deems equivalent. We would like you to have experience with: - swimming instruction - work in swimming facilities - educational work with children and youth - service and customer care As a person, you are responsible, flexible, and have good teamwork skills. We are looking for someone who enjoys working in a team and understands the importance of contributing to the entire operation, even beyond your main tasks. Cultural and recreational activities are conducted mainly when people are free from work and school. Therefore, evening and weekend work is a natural and important part of the assignment. We are looking for someone who sees the value in creating a safe, welcoming, and functioning operation during people's leisure time. Other Information The position includes shift work and duty in evenings and on weekends.
