The clinic consists of a neonatal unit, an acute section with a children's and youth ward and pediatric emergency care, a children's outpatient clinic, and day care. Nurse, Palliative Care Advisory Team

As a nurse in the palliative care advisory team, you will be part of a county-wide team of nurses and physicians in Kalmar County. The palliative care advisory team functions as a supporting resource available to all healthcare personnel throughout the entire care chain in Region Kalmar County, regardless of the patient's diagnosis, age, living situation, or place of residence. The palliative care advisory team offers consultation on individual patient cases as well as education in palliative care. An important part of the work is conducted in the patient's home together with the patient, relatives, and other healthcare providers. The palliative care advisory team offers consultation via telephone, bedside teaching, and video consultations. Travel within the county by car to visit patients and healthcare providers is common.
