Technician/Setup Operator

Want to be part of our team? We are currently looking for a Technician/Setup Operator for our production facility in Holsby. About Us: Holsby Metall is a modern manufacturing company serving customers in the plumbing, hydraulics, and automotive industries. Our production mainly involves machining of copper, brass, and aluminum. We offer a wide range of services such as surface treatment, CNC machining, assembly, blasting, tool manufacturing, thread coating, hot pressing, and post-processing. About the Position: As a Technician/Setup Operator, you hold a key role in production and are responsible for setup, programming, and production in accordance with planning, instructions, and customer requirements. You work closely with production management, engineering, and quality, and have the authority to stop production or delivery if quality requirements are not met. You collaborate daily with colleagues and externally with suppliers. Responsibilities: • Oversee setup, adjustment, and optimization of new and existing products • Ensure that production follows planning, work instructions, and established setup times • Perform first-piece and last-piece inspection as well as ongoing quality checks • Report on work orders and follow up on production quality and results • Ensure that setup is performed correctly according to instructions and requirements • Have the authority to stop production and delivery of products that do not meet quality standards Who Are You? We are looking for someone who is responsible, organized, and quality-conscious. You have a technical interest, good organizational skills, and thrive in a role where you can take initiative and make decisions. You are confident in daily work and collaborate easily across different departments.
