Your Responsibilities As an Electrical Systems Engineer specializing in low voltage, you will become part of Siemens Energy's Electrical Systems division and work with customized solutions for gas turbine projects worldwide. Together with your colleagues, you are responsible for the design, engineering, and documentation of electrical systems, ensuring that customer requirements are met with the right quality, cost, and delivery time. The role involves many touchpoints, and you collaborate closely with project management, assembly, commissioning, procurement, suppliers, and subcontractors. You also serve as technical support during project implementation and follow projects throughout the assembly phase in the workshop. In this role, you will, among other things: Manage electrical design and documentation in customized gas turbine projects. Design and develop low voltage systems and equipment such as frequency converters, starting motors, battery systems, UPS systems, and switchgear. Ensure that technical solutions meet customer requirements, quality standards, and project schedules. Work closely with internal and external stakeholders to create efficient and sustainable solutions. Provide technical support to assembly and commissioning organizations during project implementation. Participate in the workshop to follow and support projects through the entire assembly process. Contribute to the development of future energy solutions through high-quality engineering and a strong customer focus. Your Profile We are looking for someone with relevant education in electrical power, electrical engineering, or a similar field, as well as several years of experience working with electrical systems. You have a strong technical understanding and thrive in a role where you can combine design, problem-solving, and collaboration with many different stakeholders. To succeed in this role, we would like you to have: Experience in electrical design and work with electrical systems in industrial environments. Experience with power generation plants, gas turbines, or related products is advantageous. Knowledge of COMOS and/or SAP, which is considered a major advantage. Experience with analysis and calculations in electrical power, for example using tools like ETAP. Practical experience with UPS systems, battery systems, or other low voltage equipment. Experience with Siemens SINAMICS drive systems and SIMATIC STARTER is advantageous, particularly in configuration, commissioning, and troubleshooting. Strong English language skills, both spoken and written. Swedish spoken and written is advantageous. As a person, you are solution-oriented, collaborative, and communicative. You appreciate working in teams and naturally build good relationships with colleagues, customers, and suppliers. Junior Electrical Power Design Engineer – Perfect for Recent Graduates!

About the Role We are looking for someone at the beginning of your career. We are looking for you who want to take the step into the electrical power world and develop in a high-tech environment where generators, switchgear, frequency converters, motors and auxiliary equipment are at the heart of our projects. You will become part of Electrical System with responsibility for generators and generator protection. Here you work closely with both electrical power design engineers, mechanical design engineers and project managers to ensure that gas turbine systems have the right conditions to deliver at the highest level. Work is done in project form where you are part of a group of six electrical power engineers, which in turn is part of a larger department of about 20 people. A project typically spans 14 months, which gives you time to follow the entire chain – from design and procurement to installation, commissioning and handover to the aftermarket. You work based on established templates and processes, but with great scope for customer customization and technical responsibility.
