Your Responsibilities As a Mechanical Development Engineer, you will be part of a dedicated and open team where collaboration, knowledge sharing, and development are in focus. The team is responsible for installation design within research and development projects and works closely integrated with system design, providing a varied and stimulating work environment. The role offers significant opportunities to develop both technically and professionally. If you want to broaden your competence, there is an opportunity over time to take on a more coordinating role and support other mechanical design engineers within development projects. In the role, you will, among other things: Develop and design steel structures and installation solutions for development projects. Prepare manufacturing documentation and technical documentation in Siemens NX. Participate in the development and improvement of product standards, technical solutions, and features. Ensure that technical solutions are cost-effective, quality-assured, and meet applicable requirements. Collaborate with procurement and suppliers to develop optimal technical solutions. Participate in troubleshooting, root cause analyses, and technical investigations. Cooperate with other technical areas and contribute to the overall design of gas turbine packages. Plan and execute design work according to project schedules. Create, review, and update technical documentation within your area of responsibility. Your Profile You have a degree from a university of applied sciences or a civil engineering degree in mechanical engineering or equivalent experience. You have experience with mechanical design and product development. You have knowledge of relevant standards and regulations within process and mechanical engineering, such as PED and ASME. You communicate fluently in English, both spoken and written. Knowledge of Swedish is a merit. You have a strong interest in technology and are driven by learning new things. You thrive in a changing environment with many contact points and technical challenges. You are structured, take initiative, and have the ability to prioritize your work effectively.
