In Boxholm town center there are six after-school programs, four in town and two in the countryside. We are now seeking a qualified after-school program teacher for one of our rural after-school programs, Åsbo After-School Program. Åsbo School has approximately 130 students from preschool to grade 6. The school is beautifully located by Åsbodalen, 1 km from the community of Strålsnäs in Boxholm Municipality. The outdoor environment is truly adapted for children, with a soccer field, large school yard with garden park and grilling area. The proximity to forest and nature means outdoor activities are a natural part of teaching. Job Description As an after-school program teacher, you are responsible for the teaching at Åsbo After-School Program by contributing to the realization of the curriculum's goals and intentions in the activities. Together with your work team, you plan, implement and document the pedagogical work. As a teacher, it's important that you put the student at the center. You should have a positive approach and maintain high expectations while building good relationships with students, colleagues and guardians. You have the opportunity to make a difference for students by contributing your expertise, knowledge and commitment to work with the student at the center to help the program reach its goals. Together with your colleagues, you shall work to ensure all students thrive and develop according to their abilities. During school hours, you will have tasks connected to classes F-6. Qualifications We are looking for you, a qualified after-school program teacher. You are clear and attentive in your communication style and are expected to be a good role model with respectful conduct. You are aware of your leadership and have strong ability to collaborate with people in various contexts. You have the ability to meet all children based on their individual needs.
