As an infrastructure officer, you will be an important part of a successful team in a rapidly growing government agency. Planning Division (G58), A 8 Regiment Staff As an officer, you will join the Planning Division (G58), which is part of the A 8 Regiment Staff. The Regiment Staff consists of five divisions and is tasked with coordinating and, in certain cases, being responsible for and leading the regiment's operations under the regiment commander. G58 is the division for long-term planning (5) and finance (8). The division also supports the business management process. Currently, the division consists of 7 people, of which 3 are officers and 4 are civilians. Main Responsibilities As an infrastructure officer, your primary task is to support the Commander A 8 with physical planning by leading and coordinating the infrastructure processes within A 8. You coordinate the needs for new, renovation, and expansion construction at A 8, as well as the needs for maintaining existing infrastructure. You participate in meetings with, for example, the Army Staff (AST), Local Planning Units (LplE), the Fortifications Agency, the Swedish Defense Materiel Administration, Military Bases (MB), and if necessary, civilian contractors. The position involves placement in a security classification and work duties include official travel. You also have responsibilities as A 8 Fire Safety Officer and Electrical Safety Officer, which involves overall coordination responsibility.
