Personnel Department
As a Military Service Administrator at Boden Artillery Regiment, you belong to the Personnel Department, which is one of five departments at the regimental headquarters. The regimental headquarters' task is to plan, lead and follow up the regiment's operations and support the regiment leadership in decision-making. The Personnel Department consists of ten people, of which one is an officer and nine are civilians.
Main Responsibilities
You will primarily work with handling military service cases in connection with military basic training. Your daily work includes collaboration with managers in operations, other agencies such as the Duty and Test Agency, and other units within the Swedish Armed Forces. You will also work with handling disciplinary cases for conscripts (legal administrator) with the support of the Swedish Armed Forces' auditor. You will work in our support systems PRIO, VIDAR, and ATLAS.
In your work you will:
Administer conscripts in connection with military basic training
Ensure that the unit safeguards the rights and obligations of conscripts
Handle requests for public documents and administrative law matters
Support managers in legal matters according to the law on total defense obligation and be an expert in total defense matters
Conduct training for employees and conscripts within your area of expertise
Work with equality, equal treatment, and Swedish Armed Forces values for conscripts
Conduct investigations into unwelcome behavior
Conduct support conversations with conscripts when needed
REQUIREMENTS
Qualifications
Higher education (social worker, behavioral/personnel scientist, lawyer) or equivalent work experience
Driver's license Category B
Good knowledge of the Office package
Very good ability to express yourself in Swedish, both spoken and written

The position is civilian and will involve you receiving a war placement. To meet the Swedish Armed Forces' requirements for physical standards, physical training is part of your work duties.
Internal training and travel occur in the position. Working hours are primarily daytime, but evening and weekend work may occur.

Boden Artillery Regiment, A 8, is the Swedish Armed Forces' competence center for indirect combat. The regiment preserves and develops competencies, equipment, and methods for future capability to detect and hit targets at long distances and with high precision. A 8 has functional responsibility for CAS (Close Air Support) - directing air support against ground targets and for weather services within the Army in the Swedish Armed Forces. Combat in winter environments is a special competency for the unit in Boden.
