The team consists of case workers with broad expertise in social work and specialized knowledge in the areas of subsistence support, harmful substance use/addiction, and LSS/social psychiatry. We are seeking a social worker specializing in adult services for Team Individ as one of our employees will be taking parental leave shortly. The position involves case management of issues in the adult target group, with a focus on harmful substance use/addiction related to alcohol/drugs. Team Individ currently has 3.0 social workers specializing in adult services, 2.0 social workers specializing in young adults, and 1 senior social worker in the field. Colleagues and your manager will support and guide you in your daily work. Social workers on the team work in close collaboration with each other within all areas of expertise such as harmful substance use/addiction, subsistence support, and LSS/social psychiatry, as well as with Team Support, which is our combined open care. With us, you will become an important part of a multicompetent team of 16 people who together, based on their different areas of expertise, work toward creating a functioning whole for the individual. WORK DUTIES You will work with public administration, which means investigating, assessing, and making decisions based on applicable legislation in the field; the Social Services Act (SoL) and the Act on Care of Substance Abusers in Certain Cases (LVM). You are responsible for follow-ups and reviews of these decisions. Case management and documentation constitute a significant part of the work, as does collaboration in various constellations internally and externally. The work tasks are varied, sometimes challenging, but always meaningful, which requires a flexible approach. QUALIFICATIONS Education in social work or other education deemed adequate by the employer. Knowledge and experience in the area of harmful substance use/addiction as well as experience with public administration are merits. We are seeking a responsible, positive, and flexible person who can help make a difference for the individual service user, development of the operation, and a good work environment. Great emphasis is placed on personal suitability. Class B driver's license is required. Employment type: Fixed-term contract. Duration: Start date 2026-09-01 or by agreement, end date 2028-01-31.
