It's a vital societal role to transport students and citizens to school, work, friends, outdoor activities and job interviews. Your mission is to create a safe, secure and smooth travel experience every day in Åre Valley for both ski tourists and permanent residents. Working as a Bus Driver in Åre (year-round or seasonal) is a unique assignment! Half of the work team consists of seasonal staff and half work year-round. The surroundings are stunningly beautiful, and weather conditions can be quite challenging at times. During winter season, we are an important part of Skistar's offerings to its customers. You'll drive the ski buses in Åre, among other things. Connect Bus works on behalf of Länstrafiken in Jämtland and is also responsible for local traffic in Åre municipality. We offer simple seasonal accommodations in Duved for seasonal employees, as well as initial simple housing for those who want to start living and working in Duved or Järpen but wish to find your own accommodation in peace and quiet once on site. Part-Time Bus Driver Duved, Hallen and Järpen
Do you have a D-class driver's license and enjoy providing service? Do you live in the area? Would you like to work a reasonable amount of hours - a few hours in the morning but regularly Mon - Fri? We are looking for bus drivers who can and want to start with early morning shifts from Duved or Järpen. We are looking for someone who wants to work approximately 50% as an hourly employee with a fixed schedule or shift and frequency by agreement. We also have a depot in Hallen that needs more on-call employees. If you have a D-class license but lack current YKB (Bus Driver Card), there may be an opportunity for us to provide that training. We are also interested in experienced professional drivers with C/CE licenses and valid YKB who want to train as bus drivers.
