Arjeplog Arvidsjaurs pastorat is part of the Church of Sweden and covers a large geographic area from Glommersträsk in the east to the Norwegian border in the west. The pastorate includes nine churches and chapels. Activities are characterized by good contacts and collaborations with both schools and the rest of society. The cemetery administration in the pastorate is responsible for, among other things, six cemeteries with economic buildings and machinery, three churches with associated parish halls, three smaller churches and two chapels on the outskirts of the pastorate, as well as two funeral chapels.
