The Fire and Rescue Service in Arvidsjaur Municipality consists of two fire stations and one fire guard unit. We are just over 50 employees, of which 4 are full-time, 37 are part-time, and 8 are volunteer firefighters. We are now seeking a full-time Fire Inspector.
DUTIES
You will primarily work as an operations and maintenance manager. The position will be adapted based on your background, experience, and competencies and combined with other tasks within the scope of the fire and rescue service's mission.
The position also includes on-call duty in the response organization according to schedule. You will serve as an incident commander.
QUALIFICATIONS
We are looking for someone with experience from work in the fire and rescue service and who has at least RIB training or equivalent education. You also have Rescue Commander A or equivalent to the old system, as well as a driver's license, at least BC. Good computer skills and good ability to express yourself orally and in writing. You must have some experience with vehicle maintenance. It is an advantage if you:
• Have Rescue Commander B
• Have Inspection A and B or alternatively Fire Prevention 1 and 2.
• Have experience with inspection work or experience as an instructor in training programs.
As a person, you are responsible, have good administrative skills, and are driven and decisive. You will be part of a small work team, which places great demands on good collaboration skills. The work is very varied, which means you must be flexible and able to adjust your planning at short notice.
Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability.

The position is full-time and permanent; probation may be applied.
The position includes on-call duty.
