The ENT Clinic in Region Kronoberg has audiology clinics in Växjö and Ljungby. We are 17 audiologists and 3 hearing care technicians and are responsible, together with hearing rehabilitation, for the entire region's hearing care. We have close collaboration with ENT doctors with special focus on hearing. With us you work in integrated teams with advanced rehabilitation for both adults and children. We also have a regional joint clinic for assistive devices and cochlear implants (CI), which provides varied activities with good opportunities for development. DUTIES As a hearing care technician, you work broadly within hearing care with technical service, patient-facing work and administration. Your main responsibilities consist of troubleshooting and repair of hearing aids and other hearing assistive devices as well as scheduled service visits with patients at the clinic. You also work with installation and adjustment of hearing assistive devices in patients' homes. The work is varied and means that you get to use both your technical expertise and your patient interaction to create well-functioning and individually tailored solutions. The work includes certain physical tasks. You need to be able to carry and move work equipment that can periodically be heavy, climb stairs and perform work tasks in varying and sometimes ergonomically challenging work positions. QUALIFICATIONS We are looking for someone with technical education at upper secondary level, for example technical engineer, or other education that the employer deems equivalent. You have a genuine interest in both people and technology and thrive in a role where you get to combine technical problem-solving with patient contact. As a person you are service-oriented, responsible and solution-focused. You have the ability to work independently in patient work and simultaneously contribute to good teamwork. We are looking for a dedicated support worker who will do everything to ensure that residents at the supported living facility thrive and feel secure. We want you to work using a low-arousal approach, be open to changes in the operations, and be able to work with your colleagues based on the routines and structures that exist in the workplace. Employment: We offer a wellness allowance of 2,500 kr/year. Start date November 2026 or by agreement. Position is approximately 80-90%.
