We are now seeking a university lecturer in English with a focus on linguistics. The position is a substitute appointment for the period 2027-01-15 through 2028-01-14. Description and Responsibilities The position comprises 80% teaching/administration and 20% professional development. The position includes teaching in courses on English linguistics at the undergraduate and advanced levels, particularly in the subject teacher education program in English and in courses on cognitive linguistics and language and cognition. The School of Architecture at Umeå University is seeking a project assistant for an upcoming research project focused on circular building practices and the use of reclaimed and reused building materials. Project Background This position is linked to the two-year research and development project Scalable Processes for Reuse in the Building Sector, a collaborative initiative between Umeå University and ABC Umeå, financed by Tillväxtverket.
