Cybersecurity Expert – RISE CSDI

Cybersecurity is no longer just an IT department issue – it's a fundamental societal matter. At RISE CSDI, we work to strengthen Sweden's resilience against digital threats by combining deep technical expertise with the ability to translate complex knowledge into understanding and action. We are now seeking a cybersecurity expert who wants to do both – strengthen our team from within and work directly with the organizations we serve. About RISE CSDI RISE CSDI – Center for Security Design and Innovation – brings together expertise in security design, transformation leadership, innovation management, and applied research in security-critical situations. We combine scientifically grounded methods with practical application in the public sector, business, and civil society, contributing to strengthening Sweden's ability to meet complex societal threats. About the Position The role of cybersecurity expert at RISE CSDI has a clear dual focus. On one hand, you contribute to raising the collective cybersecurity capability within your immediate team – by sharing knowledge, introducing new tools and methods, and helping the organization stay at the forefront. On the other hand, you work directly with our partners and customers – authorities, municipalities, and organizations in the total defense ecosystem – to help them understand and manage their cybersecurity challenges. You are equally comfortable with deep technical dives as you are explaining threat landscapes and risks to an executive group without IT background. You follow with curiosity how new technology – not least AI and automation – is changing both the threat landscape and the opportunities for strengthened security. The position is placed in security classification, which means a security clearance will be conducted before employment in accordance with the Security Protection Act. Your responsibilities: • Conduct risk assessments, security analyses, and provide advice to customers and partners in the public and private sectors • Contribute to building and strengthening cybersecurity capability internally at RISE CSDI, including through knowledge sharing, training, and methodology development • Communicate complex technical threats and security contexts to non-technical decision-makers and business leaders • Follow and implement new technology – particularly AI-driven tools and automation solutions in security work • Participate in or lead assignments within Sweden's total defense framework, including collaboration with authorities and municipalities • Contribute to RISE CSDI's work with environmental scanning and keep the team updated on current threats, vulnerabilities, and trends What We Offer • A role at the intersection of cutting-edge technical expertise and societal impact • Access to RISE's broad network of researchers, experts, and collaboration partners • Opportunity to work in and with Sweden's most advanced cybersecurity test environments, including our Cyber Range • Continuous competence development in a rapidly changing and technology-intensive environment • An inclusive organizational culture with strong focus on collaboration and shared goals • Flexible work arrangements and competitive employment terms Who Are You? You have a solid technical foundation in cybersecurity and have gained your experience from practical work in complex environments. You combine deep technical understanding with a clear ability to communicate – you are equally at home in a technical forum as in front of a board or municipal leadership. Requirements: • Documented experience in cybersecurity work within risk management, vulnerability analysis, incident handling, or security architecture • Ability to explain technical security issues in an understandable way to audiences without technical background • Curiosity and active interest in new technology, particularly AI and automation within the security field • Ability to work cross-functionally and maintain a holistic perspective in complex collaboration environments • Fluent in Swedish and English, both written and spoken Merits: • Experience working with or advising authorities, municipalities, or other public sector organizations on cybersecurity matters • Knowledge of regulatory frameworks such as NIS2, ISO 27001, DORA, or MSB regulations • Experience with cybersecurity in total defense context, critical infrastructure, or security-classified environments • Relevant certifications, such as CISSP, CISM, CEH, or equivalent • Experience with SOC work, threat intelligence, or security automation (SOAR) Personal Qualities: You are someone who is driven by making security understandable – not just technically robust. You see it as your task to build trust, disseminate knowledge, and strengthen other organizations, not just examine them. You are curious about how AI and automation are changing the threat landscape and see these technologies as tools you want to master, not threats you should warn against. You are comfortable in a role that involves both internal knowledge work and external customer meetings. You are equally engaged when helping a colleague understand a vulnerability as when standing in front of a new customer explaining why cybersecurity is a leadership capability – not just a technical issue. Are We Right for Each Other? Within RISE, we appreciate differences, and we are convinced that diversity contributes to an innovative environment where together we can push boundaries and develop new knowledge and skills for the future. We cannot promise you an easy job, but what we can promise is an exciting journey where, together with engaged and talented colleagues, we will contribute to a sustainable future and be at the forefront of global competition. Do you want to join us? Welcome with your application! If this sounds exciting and you want to know more, you are welcome to contact Erik Bakkman, Unit Manager Security Design and Innovation, at [email protected]. Senior Azure Platform Engineer - Futur Pension

Do you want to be part of shaping the next phase of Futur Pension's Azure platform? Here you'll get a senior, hands-on role where you work with everything from platform design and Infrastructure as Code to automation, security, and troubleshooting. You'll step into an established Azure environment with the opportunity to influence how the platform evolves to become even more secure, stable, and easier for development teams to use. ABOUT THE ROLE: As a Senior Azure Platform Engineer at Futur Pension, you'll become an important part of the operations team, taking a central role in developing and maintaining the company's Azure platform. The platform has an established foundation with Azure Landing Zones and Infrastructure as Code, and the focus now is on taking the next steps in areas such as automation, security, stability, and self-service. This is a technically broad and hands-on role where you work across the entire chain, from design and code to implementation, troubleshooting, and operations. You drive technical initiatives independently while working closely with development teams, architects, and security functions. An important part of the role will be creating more reusable and standardized solutions, reducing manual changes, and making it easier for development teams to work quickly and securely within the platform. You'll work with Bicep, Azure DevOps, PowerShell, hub–spoke networks, Azure Policy, Entra ID, AKS, and GitOps, among other things. RESPONSIBILITIES: Further develop and maintain Futur Pension's Azure Landing Zone. Build modular and reusable Infrastructure as Code, primarily with Bicep. Automate validation and deployment through Azure DevOps. Work with networking, DNS, firewalls, private endpoints, and hybrid connectivity. Develop governance, Azure Policy, identity, RBAC, and secure secret management. Further develop the AKS platform and its shared services. Improve monitoring, logging, alerts, and incident readiness. Reduce manual changes and create better control over drift between code and environment. Create documentation, standards, and self-service solutions that make teams less dependent on individuals and simplify work for development teams. WE'RE LOOKING FOR YOU IF: You have several years of current experience building and operating production environments in Azure. You have deep practical experience with Bicep or other ARM-based Infrastructure as Code. You have experience with Azure Landing Zones, subscriptions, and management groups. You have experience with Azure DevOps, YAML pipelines, and automation with PowerShell and Azure CLI. You have strong knowledge of Azure networking, for example hub–spoke, routing, Private DNS, and Azure Firewall. You have experience with identity, governance, and security in Azure, for example Entra ID, managed identities, RBAC, Key Vault, and Azure Policy. You have practical experience with AKS or a comparable Kubernetes platform. You're comfortable independently driving technical initiatives from design through to a working and maintainable solution. You have strong communication skills in Swedish or English. It's a merit if you have experience from banking, insurance, or other regulated operations. Experience with hybrid environments, ExpressRoute, or large-scale cloud migrations is also valuable, as is knowledge of Terraform, Helm, Argo CD, or GitOps. If you've also worked with disaster recovery, policy-as-code, automated IaC testing, observability, or cost optimization in Azure, we see that as a plus. To thrive in this role, we believe you combine a clear security mindset with a pragmatic approach to problem-solving. You enjoy automating recurring work, think long-term about the solutions you build, and drive improvements step by step. You like sharing your knowledge, aren't afraid to challenge existing solutions, and can balance the need for standardization and control with development teams' need for speed and self-service.
