About the Position We are looking for you to fill a shared position as a family counselor and youth worker. As a family counselor, you will lead the work toward established goals together with your team colleagues. Our primary tasks are to assess the issues and based on that create an individual treatment plan within the given method. Treatment interventions are directed at children/adolescents and parents and occur in close collaboration with social services and other actors such as the school. Assignments come from social services and concern families with significant need for support and treatment. As a youth worker, you will have varied work. Through the daily program environment, ongoing conversations with the young person and their guardians, and various forms of staff forums, change and development are co-created based on established treatment and school goals. The youth worker works closely with children/adolescents during their daily time at Magelungen and contributes to making the young person's perspective, strengths, and resources visible, strengthened, and utilized in the treatment work. The youth worker is responsible for the young person's development process and change work in collaboration with the team and family. The work requires openness and good collaboration skills, stress tolerance, flexibility, and a creative approach.
