Behandlingshemmet erbjuder fullskalig DBT behandling (dialektisk beteendeterapi). KBT (kognitiv beteendeterapi) tillämpas individuellt för personer som inte ingår i DBT-behandling. Personlighetsstörning och neuropsykiatriska diagnoser så som ADHD, ADD och autismspektrumtillstånd är vanligt förekommande. Det förekommer ibland en kombination av något av ovan nämnda psykiska ohälsa tillsammans med ett utvecklat riskbeteende av alkohol/droger eller utvecklat missbruk/beroende. På Strandhagen finns en återfallsprevention kurs ständigt igång.
