About the Position

Odengatan is a group home for adults covered by the LSS target group 1. We work with individually tailored support based on clarifying pedagogy and low-arousal approaches. Odengatan is a specialized residential facility for individuals with extensive care needs and psychiatric comorbidities, such as severe anxiety and self-injurious behavior. We are now looking for a committed temporary full-time resident support worker for a three-month placement, with good opportunities for extension. Working hours are scheduled for day, evening, and weekend shifts.
Together with your colleagues, you will continuously evaluate and adapt your work approach to best support each individual. As a resident support worker with us, you primarily work directly with our residents, although some administrative tasks such as social documentation are also part of the role. You will be supported by engaged leadership with a team leader present on-site during daytime on weekdays, who also manages much of the daily operations, as well as a service manager.
As a resident support worker, you work with people who need support with their daily living.
In this role you will:
Provide individual support, care, and service interventions
Plan and implement activities with clients
Carry out delegated health and medical care tasks
Work both independently and in close collaboration with colleagues
Who Are You?
Education as a nursing assistant, special educator, or behavioral scientist
Experience from similar operations
Knowledge of low-arousal approaches and clarifying pedagogy
Good proficiency in Swedish, both spoken and written, as documentation is a major part of the work
Driver's license (Category B)
As a person, you are service-oriented, attentive, and accommodating. The role of resident support worker also requires patience, flexibility, and responsiveness.
