Team Lead 2nd Colonial, Willys Köping Big Inn

We are all different. And that's wonderful! We don't hire people based on a certain template but based on who you are. For us, drive and personality are more important than experience and background. We're doing well, and we're growing fast. Now we're looking for more happy employees with the right attitude and a willingness to develop! About the Job We're looking for you who loves food, people, and sales and wants to be part of our great team at Willys Köping Big Inn! In short, the position means that you contribute to enabling our customers to shop for good and sustainable food at really good prices, while you're being prepared to take the step to becoming a leader at Willys. The position includes: Permanent employment, full-time. Probationary period applies. Start date: September 21, 2026, or by agreement. Working hours: You will rotate between working early mornings, daytime, evenings, and weekends. Requirements: Upper secondary education, good knowledge of Swedish (spoken and written). We welcome applicants of all ages, but with reference to the Swedish Work Environment Authority's regulations AFS 2023:2 chapter 8 and appendix 2, we do not employ people under 18 years of age due to the nature of the work tasks. Here's a bit more about the position: You are a team player with more responsibility than others on your team, but without having the full personnel responsibility of a team lead. Together with your team lead, you lead and plan the operations of your team. Of course, you actively participate in the daily operational store work. You learn the knowledge and skills required to eventually take on a role as team lead. This is a springboard to move forward in your Willys career with the goal of becoming a future team lead or perhaps eventually a store manager. You work goal-oriented to develop the store's sales, profitability, and other important key metrics. You are part of the management team in the store and have the team lead's job description on your development plan. You practice the skills you have learned at work and through training. You are a role model in approaching our customers with knowledge, tact, and a big smile. About Us For us, the right attitude and willingness to develop are more important than experience and education. We work together as a team, as we see that really good cooperation gives the best results – while having fun at work. A bit more about us: We work with concept management and chain operations – there are clear routines and structures in place, which frees up time for you to focus on developing yourself towards becoming a team lead and assisting your team lead in leading the team. Willys is one of the industry's most successful companies and we continue to grow. And because we're growing, you can too. As a large company, there are many opportunities to develop in your leadership role with us, including through various training programs. Read more about what it's like to work for us here. About You You love food, people, and sales just as much as we do! Willys grows and develops all the time, and you love doing that too. You want to learn new things, enjoy being challenged, and are driven by taking on greater responsibility. It's also great if: You are junior in your leadership and don't need experience from a leadership role, but see yourself as a future leader and are driven by leading others. Alternatively, you already have the experience, but not in grocery retail. You're good at communicating, enjoy engaging your colleagues, and are good at creating a positive work environment. You love people, put the customer's needs first, and are good at bringing people along – both customers and employees. If you want to know more about what the position entails, contact Peter Vatka, [email protected]. We would appreciate it if you send your application as soon as possible, as the position may be filled before the final application deadline of September 15, 2026. We only accept applications through our job pages. To find out if you're the one we're looking for, our recruitment process includes both tests and interviews.
