About the Operation The Forensic Psychiatric Regional Clinic (RPK) in Sundsvall is one of the country's largest operations providing care under the Forensic Psychiatric Care Act (LRV). The clinic provides 24-hour inpatient care as well as outpatient services and maintains close collaboration with both regional and national actors in forensic psychiatry. The operation has been in an extensive development and expansion phase. This spring, the second of two new care units opened, and the clinic has now reached its target of ten care units with a total of 137 beds in modern and purpose-built facilities. Care is structured around a unified care process in five phases, from introduction phase to outpatient care, where working methods, organization, and medical structures are successively developed for future forensic psychiatric care. Assistant Unit Manager for Ambulance Services, Sollefteå

About the Operation Ambulance services have a regional mandate and consist of five ambulance stations, three satellite stations operated by Region Västernorrland, and three ambulance stations in private operation. The operation encompasses approximately 200 employees distributed across five region-operated units, each led by a unit manager, and three contract-operated units. The operation's responsibility includes prehospital care, which involves assessment and treatment of acutely ill and injured patients of all ages and with all types of medical conditions and injuries before hospital care. Ambulance services perform approximately 36,000 assignments per year. In its daily work, the operation maintains important interfaces and collaborations with SOS Alarm, emergency departments, care wards, primary care, psychiatric care, state and municipal rescue services, social services, municipal care and elderly services, and police. Within ambulance services in Sollefteå, approximately 40 specialist nurses, nurses, and nursing assistants (ambulance care providers) currently work. The station currently staffs three ambulances around the clock plus one patient transport resource, which together perform approximately 3,600 assignments per year. We are now expanding the operation with a completely new role as assistant unit manager, who together with our regular unit manager will plan, organize, and lead the work at the unit.
