About Thamstorp You will find us in a rural setting in a historic manor house environment outside Grästorp in Västra Götaland. About the Role As a residential support worker, you will work based on the assignment, residents' individual needs and wishes, and provide support in daily life using a pedagogical approach. An important part of the work is to motivate residents to develop their abilities and create opportunities for a structured and meaningful day. You will support and guide with personal care, activities, meals, medication management, cleaning, community contacts, and communication. Documentation, planning, and follow-up of implementation plans are integral parts of the work. You will collaborate with commissioners, care colleagues, and relatives/guardians. The position involves 37 hours per week on a rotating schedule that includes day shifts, evening shifts, and weekend duty every third week. Your Experience and Knowledge You are a nursing assistant or have a 2-year post-secondary education in social work, social pedagogy, behavioral science, or relevant experience that the employer deems equivalent. You should have experience working with this target group and familiarity with managing cases as a key worker. The position requires strong collaboration skills with both commissioners and other actors. We appreciate if you are structured and methodical in your work approach. You have good computer skills and experience with documentation. Good knowledge of Swedish in both speech and writing is required. It is an advantage if you have knowledge of methods such as motivational interviewing and low-arousal approaches and alternatives.
