We are now seeking more substitute staff for the southern team, which consists of preschools and schools in Västra Bodarna, Ingared, Hemsjö, and Ödenäs. As a substitute, you will work either in preschool or in primary school (grades F-6) and after-school programs. We offer our substitutes one to two work locations where you have the opportunity to feel connected to the team, individual introductions based on your previous experience and education, and close contact with the principal and administrator. We also offer flexible working hours. If you can work across multiple units and at different locations, we have greater opportunities to offer you more shifts. WORK DUTIES Preschool: In preschool, you will work as a substitute alongside regular educators, with the preschool teacher leading the pedagogical work in collaboration with other staff. Through care and pedagogical activities with play and creativity as the foundation, you will work to promote children's development and learning. The preschool's mission is to create an environment that supports, challenges, and engages, thus laying a foundation for learning for all children. To succeed, you need to be a good and trustworthy role model who actively supports and guides children during their time at the facility. Primary School (F-6) and After-School Programs: As a substitute in primary school, you will support our regular teachers during their absences, teach various subjects, and contribute to a safe and inspiring learning environment. It is important that you find it rewarding to teach and that you can engage students in a pedagogical manner. After school ends, you may also work at the after-school program where, together with your colleagues, you will conduct activities with students to create a meaningful free time after school. Regardless of which setting you choose to work in, your responsibility is to be a good role model, support, and guide children/students during their days. You enter the times and days you can work in our booking system and then receive bookings via SMS. QUALIFICATIONS Qualifications: • You are 18 years of age or older • You are available with short notice as bookings can occur as late as 45 minutes before a shift starts • You live in Alingsås municipality or nearby, with the ability to travel quickly and easily to the workplace • You have the ability to work at least a couple of shifts per week to contribute to continuity for children, students, and staff • You are fluent in Swedish in speech, comprehension, and writing Meritorious: • Education or experience in school or preschool • Experience in leadership, for example through associations or similar. We are looking for someone with pedagogical ability and a genuine interest in working with children and young people. You have good interpersonal skills, are attentive to others' needs, and meet each individual with respect. You easily establish good relationships and take responsibility for your role as a substitute. We place great emphasis on personal suitability. Employment Type: Fixed-term employment.
