Family Counseling Service in Lund is Hiring New Colleagues

Are you a social worker with basic psychotherapy training (Step 1) and do you have experience working as a family counselor or are interested in family counseling work? Then we may have a position for you. About the Role and Your Responsibilities The Family Counseling Service's mission is to help process relationship problems and conflicts through conversations, primarily in couple and family relationships. As a family counselor with us, you will mostly conduct conversations alone, but when needed, colleagues can conduct sessions together with couples/families. The conversations have varying focus areas but are grounded in relational work, including topics such as repair, separation, communication, conflicts, family life, and intimate relationship and cohabitation matters. As a family counselor, you perform important preventive work in relation to individuals' mental health and children's living conditions. Central to the conversations is the perspective and needs of children, which is important to keep alive in conversations with adult couples. There are also some intergenerational conversations. There is also an opportunity to participate in our groups, "We Two" and "Pleasure Course." We collaborate with other Family Counseling Services in Skåne as well as nationally through organizations such as KFR, Municipalities' Family Counseling. About You We are looking for someone who has a social work degree or an equivalent degree as assessed by the employer, and has basic psychotherapy training (Step 1).
