About the role and your responsibilities As a unit manager, you are responsible for leading, developing, and overseeing a service that operates close to the service users and is characterized by complex needs and situations. You provide present and operationally-focused leadership where you actively support staff in daily work, contribute to structure, and create conditions for safe and professional support to the people the service is meant for. The role involves continuously working to develop approaches that strengthen service users' opportunities for independence and sustainable long-term housing. You are responsible for budget, staff, and operations as well as daily work and ensuring that the service maintains high quality. You drive development based on the service's needs and help create an open climate where both staff and working methods can develop. The role also involves close collaboration with a manager colleague, where you together take responsibility for the whole and ensure that the service continues to develop to meet the needs of the people it serves. The assignment also includes participating in a management on-call group for our residential services. We are looking for you We are looking for someone with a university degree that the employer considers relevant and documented management experience. To succeed in the role, we see that you need good knowledge of and experience in operating 24-hour services, experience with the target group, and experience leading staff to provide support in daily life. As a leader, you are clear and communicative. You create frameworks but also space for your staff's creativity and different strengths, and your actions help them grow in their professional roles. You ensure both a holistic perspective and presence in daily work. You are a collaborative and unpretentious person with good self-awareness and genuine interest in the target group. These individuals have significant need for support in their daily lives. The unit has various forms of residential services. You will be responsible for our transitional housing in Lund, where work is conducted close to service users and based on individual needs, goals, and strengths. Your manager colleague is responsible for Housing First with a focus on remaining in housing and taking over the lease. Our common goal is to help service users move toward their own permanent housing and strengthen abilities/connect to other support so that the service user becomes as independent as possible.
