Registered Nurse Evening Shift with a Cohesive, Expert Team
About the Role and Your Responsibilities This position involves both acute interventions and planned visits, and is ideal for you if you want a varied, independent role while being part of a team that supports one another. We develop our operations and stay current—the expertise within our team is high. Our patient population consists primarily of elderly citizens in the municipality, but our area of responsibility also extends to the municipality's LSS activities and home care for younger individuals (18-65 years). We are currently in an exciting development phase. The department is a leader in digital innovation and drives the work to create smart solutions for the future. Examples of tasks you will encounter include acute assessments according to the A-E protocol, palliative assessments and end-of-life care, catheter management, tube feeding with nasogastric tubes, contact with on-call physicians and the Mobile Care Team, supervision of nursing assistants, telephone consultations, and management of various infusion equipment and dialysis (bag and machine dialysis). What We're Looking For We're seeking a registered nurse with several years of professional experience. Experience from municipal care and social services is a merit. You listen, communicate, and solve situations in a constructive manner. Your commitment to working with people is strong, and your interactions are pedagogical and positive. You have a strong ability to supervise and delegate to nursing assistants, provide support, and create a sense of security. You work independently and make decisions based on your own assessments and decision-support tools. Experience from an independent position within the profession is a merit. We especially value that you are organized and thorough in your work. You express yourself fluently in Swedish, have good knowledge of digital work tools, and hold a valid driver's license (Category B). Within the Care and Social Services Department, there is a centralized organization of nurses who work evening and night shifts and provide services according to the Health and Medical Services Act to users and patients in home care, LSS facilities, and our special care residences. The Care Manual's guidelines are our guiding star, and we prioritize adequate staffing. When working evening shift as a nurse in Lund Municipality, working hours are 15:00-23:00, and the full-time work measure is 34.33 hours per week. Weekend work is included in the position.
