About the Role and Your Responsibilities
Klostergårdskolan and Delfinskolan are seeking a full-time school counselor (100%).
As a school counselor, you will work actively in the school and within the student support team, collaborating closely with school leadership, school nurse, school psychologist, and special education teacher. You will provide student support services at the individual, group, and organizational levels. Your responsibilities may include working with classes/groups, conducting individual and group conversations with students, and maintaining contact with guardians. You will actively participate in and drive the school's health promotion initiatives.
Your role includes preventive work against mental health issues, bullying, discrimination, and harassment. You will also play a central role in the school's non-discrimination efforts. Additionally, you will conduct social assessments and evaluations, and may provide guidance and consultation to other school staff. You will collaborate with social services, child and adolescent psychiatric services (BUP), police, and other external partners. You will participate in a network of school counselors in Lund Municipality, attending joint meetings coordinated by the school counselors' coordinator. You will also be offered external supervision together with other school counselors in the municipality.
We're Looking for You
To be considered for this position, you must hold a degree in social work (socionom). You should have previous experience working as a social worker and counselor, and preferably experience as a school counselor or in social work with children and youth.
You collaborate easily and can independently plan and prioritize your work. You have the ability to build and maintain good relationships, and you choose to see opportunities rather than obstacles. In your work, you naturally plan and organize efficiently.
At our schools, we are prepared to try creative and flexible solutions to support our students. Your responsibilities include writing absence reports and contributing to writing school assessments. It is therefore essential that you can communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
To perform your work well, you need basic computer skills and willingness to learn systems for absence tracking. You must also be able to create and deliver presentations for students, staff, and guardians.

Klostergårdskolan is a central part of Klostergården in southern Lund and offers education from preschool class to grade 6. Delfinskolan is a newly built school that opened in 19/20, serving preschool class to grade 3, and is located in northern Lund.
