What the Position Entails As a project manager in electrical distribution, you are responsible for the entire project process – from estimation and planning to execution, monitoring, and closure. You lead projects with a focus on safety, quality, finances, and schedule and work closely with customers, contractors, and internal resources. In the role, you lead and coordinate electrical projects within power networks, are responsible for technical matters, finances, and schedules, and ensure that work is carried out in accordance with applicable regulations, ESA, and electrical safety requirements. You review technical documentation and design, monitor projects, manage contracts, and work with estimates, tenders, material procurement, and cost tracking. Project Engineer Cost Control
We need to strengthen our Civil North operations in Norrbotten with a project engineer for our ongoing and upcoming projects. As a Project Engineer in Cost Control at NCC, you will have an important role in driving our projects forward – from idea to reality. The Project Engineer Cost Control Role As a Project Engineer in Cost Control, you have an important role in the project's financial management and progress. You work closely with project management to ensure that the project is completed within the set budget limits. You gather documentation, monitor completed work and relate it to recorded costs and time spent. Together with project management, you analyze and assess the project's financial status. You are responsible for controlling and posting supplier invoices, assisting in forecast reporting and coordinating procurement and delivery plans against production needs. You manage drawings and models, monitor documentation from subcontractors and ensure that contractual requirements are met. As a project engineer in the department, you will report to our Department Head within the production group and work together with our other project engineers in the department and in the project, but also participate in networks within the field at NCC.
