You are responsible for creating direction, structure and momentum in the team's work while actively participating in the daily operations and development of the platform. About the RoleAs Technical Operations Lead, you will have a central role in Generic's technical development. You are responsible for creating structure, prioritization and momentum in the operations and platform team's work in Luleå, while also working operationally close to the technology. The role involves technical leadership where you serve as a unifying force in the team and drive, together with the CTO and colleagues, the long-term development of Generic's platform. You will, among other things: Lead and prioritize the team's daily work, which currently consists of two people. Ensure stable operations and incident readiness in existing environments. Work operationally with troubleshooting, configuration and improvement work. Prioritize between incidents, technical debt and change initiatives. Collaborate closely with the CTO and platform engineers on the platform's continued modernization and development. Contribute to technical decisions and the development of the future platform. Identify and eliminate manual work and inefficient work methods. Participate in major incidents, risk assessments and follow-ups. Contribute to knowledge sharing and the development of the team's working methods. Solid technical understanding of Linux, networking and infrastructure. Experience leading teams, projects or technical initiatives – formally or informally. Experience with incident management and prioritization in mission-critical environments. Ability to communicate fluently in Swedish and English. It is meritorious if you have experience with: Kubernetes or other container platforms. VMware or other virtualization solutions. Infrastructure as Code and automation. CI/CD and modern approaches to platform development. Modernization or migration of legacy environments. Telecoms, CPaaS or other environments with high availability requirements. You don't need to have taken exactly this path before. The most important thing is that you have experience creating structure, prioritizing work and driving technical initiatives in operations-related environments and are motivated by developing both team and technology.
