This position offers stimulating and varied work where you will serve the entire Strömsund Municipality (with the exception of Frostviken) as your service area. 1 position(s). WORK DUTIES As a nurse with us, you collaborate with base staff, other nurses, and other healthcare providers in our work around patients. Our patients live in care, support and accommodation facilities as well as in ordinary housing. You use a car in your work, and the job includes both planned and unplanned home visits. The role also includes delegating, medication management, and mentoring both staff and patients. Pursuant to an agreement with Region Jämtland/Härjedalen, the municipality is responsible for evening and night primary care coverage, which provides increased variation and breadth in patient cases. The work is varied and you meet patients in different life situations with varying needs. You will assess healthcare needs, prioritize interventions, and provide some telephone counseling. Your role includes delegating, advising, and coaching colleagues in patient care work. You work in close collaboration with various professions within the organization and with other healthcare providers. Working hours are scheduled for evenings and nights, including two weekend shifts per six-week period. QUALIFICATIONS We are looking for you who are a licensed nurse and want to be part of our team during night shifts. It is advantageous if you have further education as a specialist nurse with a focus on district nursing, palliative care, or elderly care. Additional merit if you have experience in home healthcare. As a person, you are stable and can remain calm even in stressful situations. You are attentive to patients and relatives and easily build trusting relationships – something that is particularly important at night when you often work independently.
