The health center has approximately 5,300 registered patients and has fresh, fit-for-purpose facilities, a training hall, and treatment rooms. The health center employs permanent doctors, district nurses, nursing assistants, medical secretaries, radiography nurses, counselor, psychologist, occupational therapist, administrative assistants, rehabilitation coordinator, cleaning staff, and medical foot care therapist. The health center is in the same building as the Nearby Care Unit (Näva), which we operate together with the municipality, as well as the ambulance service in Strömsund. In addition to Strömsund Health Center, the position also includes part-time work at Backe Health Center. The need determines the extent, but approximately 1 day per week. Travel time is included in work time. Primary care is in an exciting development phase with focus on nearby care and development of distance-independent care. RESPONSIBILITIES Working as a physiotherapist with us means you assess, treat, and advise patients in primary care with various complaints from, among other things, the musculoskeletal system. You work with health promotion, group activities, and you collaborate with other professions at the health center. You have the opportunity to influence and develop the operations. We are looking for someone who is comfortable taking significant independent responsibility and working independently. The position is characterized by a trust-based approach where you largely plan and structure your workdays based on operational needs. We offer a flexible schedule and the possibility of remote work approximately 1 day per week. QUALIFICATIONS Licensed physiotherapist with experience from primary care being advantageous. We would like to see that you have one of the following qualifications: OMT, acupuncture, MTT, Axelina, Basal Body Awareness, BOA, or equivalent training. You should have good initiative, be able to work in an interprofessional manner, be flexible and open to change within the field of operations. The position requires independent work, good interpersonal skills, good collaboration ability, and professional responsibility. A valid driver's license (Category B) is required.
