About the Role In this role, you will work with qualified legal matters, particularly within administrative law and public access/confidentiality. An important part of the work will be to analyze and apply regulations surrounding the principle of public access and the right to access public documents, as well as assist in developing internal procedures and guidelines. Your responsibilities will include: - Legal assessments of whether documents are public and whether they have been received, created, and stored within the meaning of the Freedom of the Press Act. - Assessments of issues regarding disclosure of public documents and application of public access and confidentiality legislation. - Analysis of administrative law issues. - Development of legal guidelines, procedures, and decision-making materials. - Providing training to the organization in this area. - Support and advice to the organization on legal matters, as well as monitoring and analysis of relevant legislation, case law, and government guidance. It is particularly meritorious if you have worked as a notary in administrative law and/or as a legal officer at an administrative court. Other experience from a government agency or municipality where you have independently worked on issues related to public documents, public access, and confidentiality is also an advantage.
