Administrative Lawyer Specializing in Public Access and Confidentiality

Tellusgruppen AB (publ) is seeking a lawyer with experience in administrative law and a particular interest in matters related to the principle of public access, public documents, and confidentiality. About the Role In this role, you will work with qualified legal matters, particularly within administrative law and public access/confidentiality. An important part of the work will be to analyze and apply regulations surrounding the principle of public access and the right to access public documents, as well as assist in developing internal procedures and guidelines. Your responsibilities will include: - Legal assessments of whether documents are public and whether they have been received, created, and stored within the meaning of the Freedom of the Press Act. - Assessments of issues regarding disclosure of public documents and application of public access and confidentiality legislation. - Analysis of administrative law issues. - Development of legal guidelines, procedures, and decision-making materials. - Providing training to the organization in this area. - Support and advice to the organization on legal matters, as well as monitoring and analysis of relevant legislation, case law, and government guidance. About You - You hold a Swedish law degree. - You have at least 2–3 years of relevant work experience from a government agency and/or municipality. - You have strong knowledge of administrative law. - You have practical experience applying regulations on the principle of public access, public documents, and public access/confidentiality, and have excellent ability to express yourself in Swedish, both orally and in writing. It is particularly meritorious if you have worked as a notary in administrative law and/or as a legal officer at an administrative court. Other experience from a government agency or municipality where you have independently worked on issues related to public documents, public access, and confidentiality is also an advantage. Personal Qualities We are looking for someone who is analytical, thorough, and confident in their legal judgments. You have the ability to quickly grasp complex issues and translate legal frameworks into practical advice and working methods. The role involves frequent contact with people without a legal background. It is therefore important that you can explain complicated legal matters in a clear, pedagogical, and pragmatic manner. You enjoy working independently and taking responsibility for legal matters from analysis to recommendation, while also valuing close collaboration with the organization.
