JOB DUTIES We are now looking for a nurse who wants to be part of our team. During weekdays in the daytime, a team consists of one nurse and one to two nursing assistants. At night, there are two nurses and four nursing assistants on the department. We have a nursing assistant at the reception to handle department phone calls, transport orders, appointment bookings, and to assist the nurses. Finally, we have a pharmacist who handles most medication-related tasks. Some of the kidney patients use a dialysis method called peritoneal dialysis (PD), which our nursing assistants manage after receiving training. As a nurse, you must also be familiar with this treatment method and will also be offered training. We have a collaboration with the rheumatology clinic in Lund and help staff their infusion unit where rheumatology patients come for intravenous treatments Monday to Friday.
