About the Position Ikett is now seeking an experienced welder with ambition to take the next step in their career at our client in Sjöbo! We're looking for someone who is confident in practical craftsmanship and has a genuine interest in developing both work methods and colleagues. You are structured, solution-oriented, and meticulous, while also enjoying working close to production. For the right person, there are excellent opportunities to grow into the role of welding supervisor and progressively take on greater responsibility for welding operations. Your initial work tasks: - Perform welding work according to drawings and specifications - Work with welding methods such as MIG, MAG, and TIG (primarily in stainless steel material) - Ensure that work meets quality and safety requirements - Maintain and inspect welding equipment - Collaborate with colleagues to ensure efficient and timely deliveries Initially, you will have an operational role in production where you work on varying welding assignments and ensure that work maintains high quality. In parallel, you will have the opportunity to develop within the areas that fall under welding responsibility. Working hours are daytime. Start immediately or by agreement. Your Profile To thrive and succeed in this role, we see that you have good welding knowledge and feel confident working from drawings, specifications, and high quality standards. You have an interest in further development over time and see the opportunity to take on greater responsibility as a natural next step in your professional development. You have: - Experience with TIG, MAG, including tube wire, and orbital welding - Knowledge equivalent to IWE, IWT, or IWS, or alternatively a willingness and prerequisites to develop in this area - Experience with metalworking, such as drilling, threading, and cutting - Good knowledge of blueprint reading and measurement techniques - Computer skills - B-class driver's license - Forklift and overhead crane certification It is an advantage if you also have: - Certification in VT-2 and/or PT-2 - Valid welding certificates, preferably in stainless steel - Experience with improvement work according to Lean/Six Sigma - Previous experience leading, mentoring, or training colleagues - Experience with business systems, such as Monitor As a person, we want you to be responsible, goal-oriented, flexible, positive, organized, and have good collaboration skills since the work takes place at our customers' locations.
