As an environmental worker at SRV recycling, you are our face to the public. You meet our visitors daily and guide them correctly when they drop off their waste. Your customer service is crucial – you help, inform, and ensure that every customer feels welcome and safe at the facility. About the Position The work is varied and practical. Together with your colleagues, you are responsible for daily operations, maintaining order in the area, and ensuring a safe environment for both customers and employees. The role includes sorting and loading material for further processing, checking the quality of incoming waste, and reporting any discrepancies. We also appreciate your ideas and suggestions for improvement – we want to continuously develop our operations. Is This You? We are looking for someone who has: High school education Driver's license category B and access to a car Experience from service professions is important since customer interaction is a central part of the role It is meritorious to have machine experience, for example experience operating an excavator or holding a tractor license, and if you have also worked in the environmental or recycling industry, that is a plus. As a person, you are service-oriented and professional in your interactions. You are flexible, solution-oriented, and adapt easily to new situations. You collaborate well with others, communicate clearly, and have good self-awareness – you can both give and receive constructive feedback. About SRV SRV recycling AB is a limited company owned by five municipalities in Södertörn: Huddinge, Haninge, Botkyrka, Salem, and Nynäshamn. The municipalities have tasked SRV with managing the collection and handling of household waste. The operation includes collection and processing of recyclable materials, fuel and waste, as well as landfilling. We currently have approximately 270 employees and receive approximately 200,000 tons of waste each year and had a turnover of 552 MSEK (2023). SRV collects waste from approximately 154,000 households in the owner municipalities. The company also has 3,000 business and organizational customers – everything from small and large companies to housing cooperatives, preschools, and organizations. SRV recycling operates a large recycling facility at Gladö Kvarn in Huddinge. The facility is the largest by area in Sweden. We also operate seven recycling centers, primarily for households, within the five owner municipalities. At SRV, we care about a healthy work environment.
