Your Role As a unit manager, you have personnel responsibility for approximately 20–25 employees and report directly to the area manager. You're part of Erikdalsbadet's management team and contribute alongside other managers to drive and develop the operations forward, with shared responsibility for the whole. You're expected to actively contribute to the strategic direction and development of the operations. In the role, you're responsible for matters related to work environment, administration, and facility procedures. The work includes administrative processes as well as both internal and external communication, in close collaboration and ongoing dialogue with the area manager. You lead and distribute the daily work together with the facility's work supervisors, support employees in their tasks, and ensure that operations are conducted according to established goals and guidelines. You have good insight into the facility's various areas – safety, service, swimming proficiency, and wellness – and actively work with follow-up and initiation of improvement measures. The role also includes contact with the public, schools, and organizations. The facility is staffed between 5:30 AM and 11:00 PM, seven days a week, which means there may be work in the evenings and on weekends. Your Competence and Experience You're a confident and clear leader who drives long-term change work and builds sustainable structures. With a focus on the operations' best interests, you work goal- and results-oriented and adapt when conditions change. You're curious, development-focused, and dare to try new ways of working. Through your engagement and ability to coach others, you contribute to people growing in their roles. The role requires personal maturity, integrity, and good judgment. We're Looking for You With: Relevant higher education in leadership within sports/wellness, pedagogy, or other education combined with work experience that the employer considers equivalent. Experience in leadership with personnel responsibility. Experience with systematic work environment efforts. Experience with administrative work and work in digital operations systems as well as staffing planning and scheduling. Very good ability to express yourself in Swedish, both orally and in writing. It's Meritorious if You Have: Experience with operations/budget, personnel, and work environment responsibility Experience working in pool and swimming operations or other safety-intensive operations Experience working within the sports movement, associational life, or public health issues. Worked in a politically governed organization Education in leadership Experience leading change and development. Other Information Swimming proficiency is an absolute requirement for work in all of the Sports Administration's swimming halls, and for employment at Erikdalsbadet, you must also be able to perform a deep dive to 5 meters. We place great emphasis on personal suitability, motivation, and commitment to the role.
