Råå Health Center is located in southern Helsingborg, just a stone's throw from the sea, with excellent train and bus connections. We have just over 50 employees caring for our 11,300 registered patients. We offer these patients a wide range of clinics including diabetes, asthma/COPD, hypertension, elderly care, district nurse clinics, and child health clinics. We also strive to ensure that all patients have their own named physician and that patients with chronic diseases are regularly called from a waiting list for visits. This ensures good quality care for our patients. We work cross-professionally and in teams, and the doors are always open for collegial questions and discussions. We have a brief daily morning meeting to keep everyone informed about what's happening in the organization. We are committed to continuous development and constantly work to improve our operations. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES As a specialist physician in general medicine, you are responsible for your registered patients and work with both scheduled and urgent physician visits. You will be part of our physician team where we collaborate closely and support each other in daily work. The role also includes serving as a consulting physician for nurses and as an educational physician, as well as participating in rounds for assessment and triage. The physicians at the health center also have various areas of responsibility, such as child health clinics (BVC), rounds at our elderly care facilities, and mentoring students. Collaboration matters with the municipality and other authorities are also part of the assignment. QUALIFICATIONS We welcome you as a licensed physician with authorization to practice within Swedish healthcare and who has specialist competence in general medicine. Swedish language skills corresponding to at least level C1 according to the Council of Europe's scale are a requirement for the position. We are looking for someone who is good at planning and organizing your work, but also has the ability to prioritize and adapt when needed. You are thorough, confident, and stable, and you see patients based on their different needs. You are also attentive and empathetic with a positive attitude and good communication toward both patients and colleagues. You demonstrate great commitment to your work, enjoy collaborating, and like having a variety of tasks. We would like you to share our interest in working with development and improvement. Therefore, we expect you to actively participate in developing the organization and to take responsibility for your own professional development. You are comfortable and confident in your role as a physician and generously share your knowledge with colleagues in different professional groups as well as with potential students and educational physicians.
