Region Dalarna's Child and Adolescent Psychiatry (BUP) within the Division of Psychiatry and Habilitation is now seeking a Registered Nurse for the new regional operation Mini-Maria in Falun and Mora - easily accessible clinics for children and young people up to 21 years old with risk use, harmful use, or substance dependence, with or without psychiatric comorbidity. Mini-Maria operates within a regional collaboration between Region Dalarna and Dalarna's municipalities, with Falun Municipality and Mora Municipality as host municipalities. We are now seeking a nurse for the clinic in Mora with a satellite clinic in Älvdalen. The operation is planned to start in the fall of 2026. In this role, you have a unique opportunity to work with engaged colleagues from both the municipality and the region to shape working methods, collaboration, and content. The work is characterized by interdisciplinary teamwork, trust, and cooperation, with good opportunities for continuous professional development as the operation grows and develops. Mini-Maria is a low-threshold operation that offers counseling, support, and treatment to children and young people as well as their families. The work is based on the individual's needs and builds on evidence-based methods and national guidelines. The main clinics in Falun and Mora will have satellite clinics in Avesta and Älvdalen that are staffed regularly. The work takes place in interdisciplinary teams together with, among others, physicians, psychologists, midwives, and treatment providers from the municipality. Work Tasks As a nurse at Mini-Maria you will: Work with counseling, support, and treatment for children and young people up to 21 years old Work with psychiatric nursing in individual contacts and teams Conduct qualified telephone counseling and digital healthcare contacts Manage medications and medical follow-ups Work in an integrated and parallel manner with psychosocial issues and possible psychiatric comorbidity Work closely with other healthcare providers in the region and with home municipalities, schools, and other stakeholders based on the individual's needs Participate actively in building up the operation, including development of routines and working methods Work both at the main clinic in Mora and at the satellite clinic in Älvdalen Conduct meetings both physically and digitally The work is mainly conducted during daytime hours, Monday-Friday, with evening work approximately once per week. Qualifications Requirements: Registered Nurse license Good ability to express yourself in Swedish both verbally and in writing Class B driver's license Meriting factors: Experience working in child and adolescent psychiatry Experience working with risk use, harmful use, or substance dependence and/or psychiatry, preferably directed towards children and young people Experience working with comorbidity - risk use, harmful use, or substance dependence in combination with other psychiatric issues Advanced education in psychiatric nursing (VUB) CBT - Basic Psychotherapy Training (level 1) Education and/or experience with treatment methods such as MI, MET, ÅP, MOVE, A-CRA, CBT, or similar evidence-based methods Personal Qualities: To thrive and succeed in this role, you need to be flexible, solution-focused, and have a needs-driven approach where you can confidently adapt measures based on the individual you meet.
