Recruitment Process We continuously contact candidates who are relevant for an initial interview. The position will be filled when we have found the right person, which may occur before the final application deadline. Your application will be processed by staff at Storsjöbydens personliga assistans, together with the client, as well as any relatives, guardian, or other involved parties. If the position involves work with a minor client, a certificate from the police record will be required. Child Perspective in Recruitment We at Storsjöbydens personliga assistans carefully follow the Convention on the Rights of the Child, which means that if you apply for a position involving work with minors, the recruitment process will include specific steps to ensure that the child's will and needs are taken into account. Upon employment where you work with a minor client, training on child perspective is also included. Terms of Employment If you proceed in the recruitment process, you need to be able to prove your identity and demonstrate that you have the right to work in Sweden. To sign your employment contract and time reports, you will need a BankID. To ensure that we maintain high quality in assistance, new employees will undergo web-based introductory training (approximately 1 hour), preferably before the start of employment but no later than one month from the start of employment. Training and good knowledge of the work as a personal assistant are fundamental prerequisites for the quality of service delivery. To be able to work as a personal assistant, completion of the National Board of Health and Welfare's training "Personal Assistant as a Profession – a Web Introduction" is a requirement for all employees at Storsjöbygdens personliga assistans. The aim of the training is to provide good knowledge and understanding of the various aspects of assistance and your important work as a personal assistant. The training covers, among other things, work environment, documentation, quality, and various communication methods to help prevent difficult situations. For internal registration, please email the course certificate to [email protected]. This applies whether you participate in the training individually or as a group. For group participation, the supervisor emails the course certificate, participant list, and the date of the training session to us. Estimated time for completion is approximately 60 minutes. The training should be prioritized and completed within your first month as an employee with us. Complete the National Board of Health and Welfare's basic training here.
