JOB DUTIES The work involves facilitating daily life for people who, due to age or illness/functional limitations, need support to manage their everyday activities. The primary principle is to provide support and assistance based on the user's approved services, self-determination, and participation. The work consists of assistance and help with personal care and service provision. Personal care may include, for example, shower assistance, morning, midday, and evening help. Service tasks may include, for example, cleaning. The job also includes documentation in our documentation system, Lifecare, as well as performing health and medical care tasks under the delegation of the responsible nurse. Working hours are distributed across day/evening/weekend shifts as well as night duty. Home Care and Support Home care is a collective term for various forms of care, support, services, and safety that we provide in the user's home. Home care services provide the assistance that the case worker has determined the user needs. What should be done at each user visit is listed in a schedule on your work phone. Six teams work in Vimmerby and four teams work in outlying areas. Care and Support Residences We assist users with support and help with personal care, meal assistance, and service provision. There is one large residence in Vimmerby, one in Storebro, and one in Södra Vi. The units are divided to accommodate different physical disabilities, dementia diagnoses, short-term care units, and day activities. Night Duty in Home Care and Care and Support Residences Night duty involves working either in a night patrol that travels around the municipality or in a care and support residence that meets users' needs during nighttime hours. QUALIFICATIONS We are looking for you if you: • Are at least 18 years old • Hold a qualification as a nursing assistant, care worker, or equivalent education • Experience from this field of work is a merit • For home care and night duty, a Class B driver's license is required. A Class B driver's license is desirable for care and support residences as well. In the selection process, we will place great emphasis on personal qualities and interest in the position.
