The Social Services Department in Örkelljunga municipality consists of social services, elderly care, municipal health and medical care, care for people with disabilities, and preventive functions. We are organized into a preventive unit, an administrative unit, and an operational unit. DUTIES
Your work involves providing care and service based on each person's needs. As a care worker, your most important task is to support individuals in their daily lives based on their needs and wishes. This can include personal care, help with meals, cleaning, laundry, and social activities. You work according to clear procedures and implementation plans and document your work. In some cases, medical tasks are included on delegation from a registered nurse. Which services are provided and how often is determined according to the Social Services Act.
Working hours vary but are scheduled days, evenings, and weekends. Weekend schedule every third weekend.

QUALIFICATIONS
We are looking for you who:
• Are attentive, flexible, and service-oriented
• Have good knowledge of Swedish in speech and writing
• Have the ability to create security and treat people with respect
• Can work both independently and in a team
Requirements:
• You are trained as a nursing assistant
• Class B driver's license
• Experience in care work
To be employed as a nursing assistant in Örkelljunga municipality, proof of protected occupational title from the National Board of Health and Welfare must be provided.
Employment type: Fixed-term employment.
Duration: Start date September 1, 2026 or by agreement.
