About the position We are seeking experienced project managers who want to work in the early stages of infrastructure projects, in the role of project manager or principal project manager. You will be part of a unit responsible for project management of investment and reinvestment projects for overhead power lines in the transmission network, from order to procurement of contracting work. The unit consists primarily of principal project managers, project managers, and project engineers who together drive complex and societally important projects. In this role, you will lead projects cross-functionally within a program and coordinate various competencies to ensure project progress and delivery. In this role, you will have the opportunity to contribute to Sweden's energy transition by leading societally important projects that develop and strengthen the transmission network. You will be responsible for complex investment and reinvestment projects for overhead power line facilities in the early project phases, where permit matters, design, and collaboration with internal and external stakeholders are critical to project success. As a project manager, you will procure and manage consultants and specialist functions, and represent Svenska kraftnät as the client. You are responsible for project progress and ensure that targets for time, cost, and quality are met. The role offers excellent opportunities to develop within project management of complex infrastructure. If you want to take the next step, there is an opportunity to develop into a principal project manager with responsibility for multiple projects and a coaching leadership role for other project managers. The NLPN unit consists of 12 employees and approximately 17 consultants in Luleå and Sundsvall.
