About Bilda Studieförbundet Bilda för kyrka och samhälle is one of Sweden's eight study associations. Based on a Christian worldview, we conduct adult education – courses, study circles, and cultural programs – that are free, voluntary, and open to everyone regardless of background. The organization consists of a federation office in Stockholm and six regions throughout the country. Financial operations are led by the Administrative Director, and the controller function consists of close collaboration between the controller and the accounting manager. Operations are governed by the federation board and regional boards, and financed largely through public grants and external project funding. About the Role As a controller at Bilda, you have a key role in the organization's financial operations. You drive the budget and follow-up process for Bilda's regions and federation office, and serve as qualified support and sounding board for regional directors and management. The role requires both analytical precision and the ability to communicate financial matters in an understandable way. Excel is a tool you master completely. The position is part of the administrative unit's finance team. Your Main Responsibilities Coordinate and drive the development of budgets and multi-year budgets for regions and the federation office, as well as follow up with ongoing budget revisions/forecasts Analytical work and development of key metrics and financial indicators Assist in monitoring externally financed projects Prepare financial decision-making materials for boards and management Actively participate in internal control work within the financial area by identifying risks, conducting controls, and developing improvement measures Manage and further develop Hypergene – Bilda's central system for budget, follow-up, and activity analysis – and drive the system's continued development in line with operational needs Conduct training and competence development within the financial area in collaboration with other functions Operatively monitor and report on the development of capital investments We are Looking for You If You Are You are an experienced controller with a genuine interest in improving, structuring, and developing.
