Nurse for Rheumatology Clinic Infusion Treatment in Lund

Make a difference. Every day. Are you looking for your next challenge as a nurse and want to be part of developing new working methods that combine service at both outpatient clinics and inpatient wards? Then this position might be for you! We offer stimulating and meaningful work where you, together with skilled colleagues, develop new ways of working and, with commitment and continuous improvement, build our success. The Business Area (VO) for Endocrinology, Nephrology, and Rheumatology (ENR), which is part of Skåne University Hospital (Sus), includes the Rheumatology Clinic Infusion Treatment in Lund, which is part of the Rheumatology Unit, as well as the Nephrology, Rheumatology, and Dermatology Ward in Lund (NRH). Both operations provide both regional healthcare and highly specialized care for their patient groups. The Rheumatology Unit has outpatient services distributed in Lund and Malmö. Our patients come here for doctor visits, nurse consultations, infusions, rehabilitation visits, and supplementary examinations with nursing assistants. As a nurse, you are a key person for these patients. Since modern rheumatological treatment has significantly improved patient prognosis in recent years, many patients are now managed through the rheumatologist's outpatient services. Development is constantly ongoing with medical treatment and rehabilitation measures. Internal and external training in rheumatology is offered regularly. The Nephrology, Rheumatology, and Dermatology Ward in Lund (NRH) operates around the clock with 18 beds, where two teams (12 patients) focus on nephrology care and one team (6 patients) focus on a combination of rheumatology and dermatology care. The ward operates according to the Magnet Model. The model identifies nursing care as one of the main processes in healthcare and places primary focus on achieving excellent nursing outcomes through evidence-based practice, innovation, development of technology, and partnership with the patient. At both the clinic and the ward, we work interprofessionally and in teams with the patient at the center. We view this as a prerequisite for offering high-quality care. At both facilities, there is strong cohesion within the teams and good collaboration between professions, where communication and cooperation are very important to us. 1 position(s). WORK TASKS We are looking for a new colleague for our infusion services! The position is primarily based at the Rheumatology Clinic Infusion Treatment (daytime) but also includes service on the NRH ward with 2 weekend shifts per 5 weeks. At the rheumatology clinic's infusion unit, intravenous biological treatments, intravenous immunoglobulin, and cytostatic medications are administered. In your role as a nurse, you are an important part of administering treatments and providing support to our patients during their visits. Our treatments provide patients with improved quality of life, making the infusion unit a central part of our operations. As a new employee, you will receive an individually tailored introduction based on your previous experience. Work as a nurse at the NRH ward includes standard nursing tasks. Some of the kidney patients use a dialysis method called Peritoneal Dialysis or PD, which is handled by our nursing assistants after they have completed training. However, as a nurse, you must also be familiar with this treatment method and will therefore be offered training. During weekday daytime hours, a team consists of one nurse and one nursing assistant, plus additional resources in the form of two nursing assistants and sometimes another nurse. During evenings and weekends, the ward is staffed with one nurse and one nursing assistant per team, plus one nursing assistant as additional resource. At night, the ward is staffed by two nurses and three nursing assistants. To support the nurses, we have a nursing assistant who is daily responsible for reception and handles ward telephone, transport orders, booking examinations, and more. Additionally, we have a pharmacist who handles most medication-related matters. QUALIFICATIONS We welcome you as a licensed nurse with authorization to practice within Swedish healthcare. The position requires Swedish language skills at a level of at least C1 according to the Council of Europe's scale. It is an advantage if you have several years of professional experience as a nurse and experience working with Melior, Pasis, or 1177 Vårdguiden. Additionally, it is meritorious to have previous experience working in inpatient care, and particularly experience within rheumatology and/or one of the specialties at the ward. You are secure in both person and profession and can bring yourself to the table. Furthermore, you enjoy working both independently and in teams. You have the ability to quickly adapt and adjust to prevailing circumstances. We expect you to contribute to our good work environment through inspiration, curiosity, and the ability to continuously see opportunities. In this way, you create conditions for both yourself and those around you to develop our way of working. Of course, you work in accordance with Region Skåne's values: welcoming, driven, caring, and respectful. We place great emphasis on personal suitability. This recruitment uses continuous selection. We warmly welcome your application today! Employment form: Permanent employment. Duration: Start date according to agreement. Nurse for the Vascular Surgery Department, Unit 5

We are looking for a new colleague to join our wonderful work team. Are you looking for a varied and patient-centered role at a small and familial clinic with many different operations under one roof? Then we might be looking for you. Duties In vascular surgery, we care for seriously ill patients with vascular surgical conditions, both acute and elective, but they also have medical conditions. This gives you broad knowledge of disease within both surgery and medicine. Our patients are often multimorbid with kidney failure, heart failure, diabetes, etc. We are therefore often a good springboard for future careers in acute care such as ICU, anesthesia, and ambulance services. We have a high level of monitoring and extensive medical equipment. On the vascular side, we operate on large blood vessels such as the aorta, carotid artery, and arteries in the legs. Patients are prepared with us before surgery and then return for postoperative care. Wound care is also a major part of our work, which can include necrotic, venous, and surgical wounds. Some patients also need compression bandaging, and we also use vacuum therapy for difficult-to-heal wounds. On the ENT side, it is common to see nosebleeds, thyroid operations, and patients who for some reason have developed airway obstruction and need a tracheostomy. You gain broad competence in this as we regularly have these patients in the unit. About the Workplace Here in vascular surgery, which is its own clinic, you are welcomed to a workplace with a familial and open work environment. The clinic has 14 patient beds. These are distributed among vascular surgery patients, eye patients, and ear-nose-throat patients. Our operations also include arterial and venous outpatient clinics close to the unit, unit-based surgical operations, clinical research, and aortic screening. How Does Teamwork Look? In vascular surgery, we have close collaboration within the team. There is always a doctor available in the unit, and several doctors are often present during rounds. We value our close collaboration and have a very familial atmosphere where everyone's perspectives are heard. Our managers work very closely with us in patient care. We have rounds both in the morning and afternoon, which gives us a good overview of our patients as a team and ensures a safe and quick care process. Since rapid mobilization is a very important part after all vascular surgery, there is a physiotherapist assigned to the unit who participates daily in the teamwork. What Development Opportunities Are There? In addition to our care unit, we also have an arterial clinic, venous clinic, and a unit-owned operating room. We do not have staff employed only at the clinic/operating room—rather, staff from the unit are trained at the clinic or operating room after some time working in the unit. This provides solid professional development and an even better understanding of the patient flow within specialist care. At the arterial clinic, nurses work alongside biomedical scientists and doctors. Here we see everything from patients referred from primary care, acute visits, and follow-up visits of treated patients or patients we follow for any reason. At the venous clinic, nursing assistants and doctors work together. This clinic focuses mainly on difficult-to-heal leg ulcers and compression bandaging. In our own operating room, located in the unit, we perform day surgery for varicose veins. A nurse, a nursing assistant, and a doctor work there one day a week and operate on approximately 6 patients per shift. For us, it is important that you feel good and enjoy your work, so we offer you: - customized introductory program so you feel safe and secure in your professional role - opportunities for professional development through, for example, internal training - a workplace for different stages of life, with the possibility of flexible working hours within certain limits - free training at our fully equipped gym - wellness allowance of 3,000 kr/year More information about your benefits can be found here: https://regionvastmanland.se/jobba-med-oss/dina-formaner/ Qualifications We are looking for you who are a licensed nurse or in the final stages of your education, preferably with experience in the profession. If you have previous experience working in similar operations, that is a merit. Since you will need to communicate verbally and in writing with patients, relatives, and colleagues in this role, good Swedish language skills are required. Other language skills are a plus. As a person, you are secure, stable, and have good self-awareness. Since work can change quickly in various ways, you need to be flexible and able to maintain your calm and focus in new situations. You have a good ability to structure your own work and take responsibility for your tasks. We work in a team and see collaboration and clarity as very important ingredients for success. Since we work closely with both patients and relatives, empathy is an important ingredient in your daily work. We place great importance on personal suitability. Terms of Employment Permanent employment, full-time. Rotation day-evening-night shifts. Start date by agreement. We apply individual and differentiated salary setting. Application Welcome to submit your application by August 30, 2026. When you apply, you should only attach your CV and preferably relevant grades/certificates. You will also be asked to answer a number of questions that are part of our selection assessment. We do not use personal letters in our recruitment process. Learn more about the region's recruitment process and how to create a good CV here: https://regionvastmanland.se/jobba-med-oss/att-soka-jobb-i-region-vastmanland/ Interviews may take place on an ongoing basis, so do not delay in submitting your application!
