Here, children and young people who need 24-hour care related to psychiatric issues are treated. The department works both with an acute mandate and with a more planned assessment mandate. Job Description As an occupational therapist in child and adolescent psychiatry inpatient care, department S102, you conduct child psychiatric assessment and treatment work in collaboration with other team members. We are a positive and ambitious group consisting of an occupational therapist, doctors, nurses, care assistants, dietitian, social worker, and psychologist. Together, we are responsible for ensuring that care is of high quality and based on the individual patient's needs. The occupational therapist's work includes performing assessments and mapping of activity and participation in daily life. These are conducted through short intensive activity assessments based on specific questions. Assessments may include mapping of process skills through observation in practical activity, mapping of sensory processing, assessment of fine motor skills, and ADL assessments. The position also includes collaboration with family members, authorities, and care partners, as well as operations development tasks related to occupational therapy interventions at the clinic. About You Being a licensed occupational therapist is a requirement. Previous experience working in psychiatry and/or with children is meritorious.
