Would you like to work with neurological rehabilitation in a specialized team? We now have an open position in our Day Rehabilitation team at Aleris Rehab Station in Frösundavik. Here you will have the opportunity to work with skilled colleagues and make a difference for patients who come to us for rehabilitation. Since our occupational therapist colleague will be on parental leave, we are now seeking a new colleague with an interest in neurology! About Us Aleris Rehab Station provides qualified neurological rehabilitation and personal assistance in a beautiful environment in modern facilities in Hagapark with immediate proximity to Brunnsviken. We provide both inpatient and outpatient rehabilitation with several different healthcare professions. As an occupational therapist with us, you will meet patients with various neurological injuries or diseases in need of specialized rehabilitation. We work in a team in close collaboration around each individual patient. The team includes physiotherapists, occupational therapists, rehabilitation instructors/assistants, social workers, speech-language pathologists, physicians, and psychologists. At Rehab Station, approximately 15 occupational therapists work in our various teams. Here you will have the opportunity to develop alongside competent and pleasant colleagues. The Role As an occupational therapist, you will be part of a multiprofessional team that works closely together around each patient. The work tasks are varied and consist of assessment and treatment/training of activity ability, cognition, hand function, and assistive device prescription. Training takes place both individually and in groups. The work also includes some patient education and supervision of students. About You We are looking for you who are a licensed occupational therapist, and it is meritorious if you have experience working in neurological rehabilitation. As a person, you are engaged, flexible, driven, and see opportunities instead of difficulties. You have a professional approach, are responsive, and put the patient in focus by being driven to inspire and motivate patients in health-promoting work. Since we work both in teams and independently, it is important that you are a team player with good ability to prioritize and have an interest in development and innovation to find solutions. Through your engagement, professional approach, and your communication skills, you create good relationships with both your colleagues and our patients.
